You walk into the Clinic

 

Over a decade ago, when the WSC (World Swap Committee) opened the first swap clinic a lot changed in the world. With a service offering people an opportunity to swap bodies with others, boundaries were broken and many found their true selves. Swapping was taboo upon its introduction but gradually became a more and more accepted practice. But with swap clinics came legislations on what makes an illegal swap, and these regulations were seriously enforced at all clinics. The laws were straight forward and simple: both parties must want to swap, no information can be withheld from a person about to swap (If the body is pregnant, has a STD, mental issues, etc..), and more. Swap clinics were serious professional institutions, but what came with the clinics being so serious was the knock offs.

    Unregistered or illegal swap clinics began to open and offer a swap with less regulations. At an illegal swap clinic there were no rules whatsoever and no consequences. These swaps were much more dangerous as the form that details the person you would swap with could be 100% fake, it is a major gamble. The upside is that an illegal swap is thousands of dollars cheaper than a regular swap.

    You are a college student looking for a permanent escape from your current life, but you don’t have any cash to afford the real clinic. Assuming it will all work out you book a swap at an underground clinic, confident that you’ll be able to get someone to swap with you. You were decently attractive, tall and broad, which was enough to find at least a few people willing. The day before your booked swap appointment you receive 9 files of people willing to swap with you. These people are offering a 1-way swap, after this you will only be able to swap back into your old body, not a different one. Whoever you pick will determine who you swap into, and after looking over the files you pick...
