    When you chose Lai you knew there were specific struggles with being an immigrant, especially one that didn’t speak English, but after seeing her picture you were dead set on being this beautiful Asian woman.     In your weeks as Lai many letters cam in English that you ignored because of how hard it was to read, this came to bite you in the ass as government workers were now taking you out of your apartment forcefully. They only spoke English and with their rough and frantic treatment of you, you had no time to translate and in a flash you were on a plane back to Taiwan. The original Lai wanted to swap because her visa was going to expire and her family had an arranged marriage planned for her when she got back. Now you would be married off by your family to a very fat, older, smelly, rich man named Li Wei. You were only 19 but he was 55 and incredibly overweight and hairy. You had no say in the matter of marrying him and were forced to endure his tongue down your throat at the wedding.
